Seeking Advice: How to Draw Trend Lines?

I have been studying technical analysis for a while, but I always struggle with drawing trend lines.

My questions are:

1. Should I connect the wicks or the bodies?
2. How many points are needed to confirm a trend line?
3. After a trend line is broken, how can I determine if it’s a true breakout or a false breakout?
