Animoca Brands is a venture capital firm focused on gaming and the metaverse, and it has recently formed a strategic partnership with Ava Labs.
According to a report by The Block, Animoca Brands has invested in Avalanche (AVAX) and established a strategic collaboration with Ava Labs.

The two parties will work together to advance the development of Avalanche in Asia and the Middle East, with specific measures including capital investment, product integration, and consulting support.
They are particularly focused on projects related to the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA), entertainment, and digital identity, with an emphasis on expansion in Asia and the Middle East.

The investment amount has not been disclosed.
Animoca Brands stated that it has established regional infrastructure and institutional relationships that will help drive the commercial expansion of Avalanche ecosystem projects in Asia and the Middle East.
Omar Elassar, General Manager of Animoca Brands for the Middle East, noted: “Avalanche combines a scalable subnet architecture with EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) compatibility, making it well-suited for sovereign and enterprise-level application deployments, where global demand is continuously rising. Our initial focus will be on identity integration and RWA tokenization, but the broader goal is to support developers within the Avalanche ecosystem and enhance its adoption.”
It is worth noting that the price of AVAX has not reacted to this investment and partnership news.
