MEXC's Bitcoin reserve coverage exceeds 267%, with Ethereum and stablecoin reserves also maintained at high levels, coupled with on-chain verification and third-party audits, demonstrating its leading asset transparency and liquidity management capabilities among crypto exchanges.
Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange MEXC's latest proof-of-reserves report reveals a significant improvement in its asset transparency. Data shows that as of February, MEXC's Bitcoin reserves reached 12,003.98 BTC, nearly doubling from approximately 6,000 BTC in January. The reserve coverage ratio jumped from 158% to 267%, far exceeding the industry average. This change not only reflects the expansion of user assets but also demonstrates the platform's proactive optimization of liquidity management.
In terms of Ethereum reserves, MEXC holds 73,433.86 ETH, with a reserve ratio of 112%, also at a healthy level. For stablecoins, the platform's USDT reserves are valued at approximately $1.82 billion, with a coverage ratio of 117%. USDC reserves reached $93.5 million, with a coverage ratio of 124%, demonstrating ample liquidity in mainstream stable assets.
To enhance credibility, MEXC employs an on-chain verifiable proof-of-reserves mechanism, combined with a Merkle tree structure and independent verification by third-party auditing firm Hacken, ensuring data is authentic and verifiable. This transparency strategy is gradually becoming an industry consensus. During the same period, competitor Bitget's total reserve ratio was 169%, with a Bitcoin reserve ratio of 352% and ETH at 147%, indicating that the entire industry is accelerating towards a safer operating model.
In addition, MEXC recently launched commission-free stock futures trading services, attempting to break down the barriers between traditional finance and digital assets. This move not only expands the product line but also strengthens its development philosophy centered on user fund security, further consolidating its competitiveness in diverse financial scenarios.
