Bitmine, the world's largest Ethereum (ETH) treasury company, has recently announced the launch of its self-developed institutional-grade Ethereum staking platform, MAVAN. Despite significant market volatility, Bitmine has continued to acquire Ethereum and announced last week that it has staked 101,776 ETH on MAVAN.
Bitmine also stated that it will transfer all its unstaked Ethereum assets to MAVAN in the future. MAVAN aims to become a leading Ethereum staking platform for institutions, focusing on security, performance, and resilience. Initially developed to support Bitmine's own Ethereum treasury, MAVAN's goal is to extend its services to institutional investors, custodians, and ecosystem partners seeking top-tier staking infrastructure.
Bitmine Chairman Tom Lee stated that MAVAN will become the world's largest Ethereum staking platform and plans to expand into Proof-of-Stake (PoS) networks and blockchain infrastructure. "MAVAN is a key step in our vision to build a leading global staking and on-chain infrastructure platform."
As Bitmine is the largest Ethereum holder globally, MAVAN will become the largest Ethereum staking platform shortly after its launch. In the future, we plan to expand to more Proof-of-Stake networks and critical blockchain infrastructure, and increase our work in areas such as on-chain vaults and post-quantum client development by 2026.
According to the announcement, as of March 24, 2026, Bitmine has staked a total of 3,142,643 ETH, valued at $6.8 billion (at $2,148 per ETH). This makes Bitmine's staked Ethereum holdings exceed those of any other organization globally.
