Coinbase brings exchange market data on-chain for the first time via Chainlink DataLink, expanding application potential for DeFi News and TradFi developers and marking a step towards secure financial infrastructure.

Liz Martin, Vice President of Coinbase Markets, expressed the company's excitement about using DataLink to bring Coinbase's trading market data on-chain for the first time, building on existing Chainlink integrations. She emphasized that Chainlink's data standards are a "battle-tested, institutional-grade infrastructure," calling it a smart choice for introducing Coinbase market data to on-chain markets, and noted that its benchmarks will enable DeFi News and TradFi developers to "build more robust on-chain applications across various domains, including derivatives and tokenized assets."
