Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin recently proposed a novel crypto wallet architecture designed to enhance the security of high-value transactions through a collaborative mechanism involving artificial intelligence and human review. He emphasized that while large language models (LLMs) have significant potential in assisting decision-making, they should not be granted direct control over millions of dollars in assets. Instead, he advocates for a two-tiered verification model of 'AI suggestion, human final confirmation.'

In this process, the AI system first analyzes user intent and generates a transaction proposal, followed by a local light client simulating the transaction execution results, generating a clear, readable summary. Users then manually confirm the operation after fully understanding the transaction content and potential impact. This design effectively avoids the phishing attacks, malicious contract loading, and blind signing risks that may exist in traditional dApp interfaces.

To enhance system credibility, Buterin suggests completely removing the direct participation of the dApp user interface in the transaction path, instead relying on a verified local simulation environment. In addition, community members have further expanded the model: AI can independently reconstruct transaction logic without referring to the original input, re-deriving results solely based on user goals. If deviations occur between the two derivations, the system will trigger a manual review mechanism to ensure that every critical transaction undergoes dual verification. This solution not only strengthens users' control over funds but also provides a practical security paradigm for the next generation evolution of Web3 wallets, especially suitable for institutional-grade users and high-net-worth individuals.
