Wormhole Integrates XRP Ledger, Unlocking Cross-Chain Liquidity Across 35+ Chains

Crypto observer Xaif Crypto recently pointed out that Wormhole has reached a significant technical integration with XRP Ledger (XRPL), marking XRPL's formal connection to over 35 mainstream blockchain networks, enabling seamless cross-chain transfer of assets and liquidity. This integration is not a conceptual promotion but a substantial expansion of XRPL's position as a financial node in a multi-chain ecosystem.

According to reports, this integration enables XRPL to communicate directly with major public chains such as Ethereum, Solana, and Avalanche, significantly enhancing the cross-chain scheduling capabilities of digital assets. An X platform user further pointed out that the so-called "35+ chains" is not a marketing ploy but refers to the actual increase in the number of connected liquidity addresses, meaning that more liquidity pools can be efficiently allocated through XRPL.

Of greater interest is RLUSD—a stablecoin protocol within the XRP ecosystem—which is accelerating its expansion to Layer 2 networks. This development not only improves transaction efficiency and cost-effectiveness but also strengthens XRPL's position as an underlying infrastructure for institutional-grade asset settlement. Wormhole co-founder Robinson stated in a related video that XRPL's advantages in performance, compliance, and energy efficiency make it an ideal choice for supporting the issuance and transfer of real-world assets (RWA).
