Solana's February Stablecoin Transfer Volume Reaches $650 Billion, Surpassing Ethereum and Tron

Solana achieved $650 billion in stablecoin transfer volume in February 2026, surpassing Ethereum and Tron for the first time, becoming a key infrastructure for on-chain payments and DeFi News applications with its low fees and high concurrency.

According to the latest market data, Ethereum and Tron have long dominated on-chain stablecoin transfer volume since January 2024. However, Solana experienced significant growth in October 2025 and February 2026, with its total monthly stablecoin transfer volume exceeding $650 billion, surpassing the two established public chains for the first time. This shift reflects Solana's rapid penetration in on-chain finance and retail payment scenarios. Its success is mainly attributed to extremely low transaction fees, high throughput of thousands of transactions per second, and the widespread deployment of decentralized finance applications, payment protocols, and tokenized assets. As more users turn to efficient, low-cost transaction environments, Solana is gradually reshaping the landscape of blockchain payment infrastructure, becoming an important hub for stablecoin circulation.
