Bitmine Holds 4.53 Million ETH, Nearing 5% of Total Ethereum Supply

As of now, Bitmine has accumulated 4.53 million Ethereum (ETH), accounting for nearly 4% of the total network supply. Valued at approximately $2,000 per ETH, its total holdings are worth close to $9 billion, making it a core component of the company's digital asset portfolio.

To enhance asset returns, Bitmine has staked the majority of its ETH on the network. Data shows that approximately 3.04 million of the company's ETH holdings have been activated for staking, representing over two-thirds of its total ETH. Based on current validator node yield levels, this staked portion is projected to generate approximately $174 million in stable annual revenue. This strategy indicates that Bitmine not only views Ethereum as a reserve asset but also as a capital tool capable of generating sustained returns, deeply participating in the network's consensus mechanism.

The company's long-term strategic goal is to ultimately hold 5% of the total Ethereum supply, internally referred to as the "5% Alchemy." Management pointed out that despite global geopolitical volatility and rising energy prices, the ETH price has remained relatively stable, suggesting that the market may be emerging from the tail end of a "crypto winter." Meanwhile, the Ethereum staking ecosystem continues to expand. On-chain data shows that over 3.2 million ETH are currently waiting to join the validator node queue, while less than 60,000 ETH are in the withdrawal queue, indicating a continuous influx of funds into the staking system. This trend is highly consistent with Bitmine's increasing holdings, reinforcing its confidence in the long-term value of Ethereum. As of press time, the ETH price remains stable around $2,000, while Bitmine's publicly traded stock has not shown significant fluctuations in pre-market trading.
