According to monitoring by blockchain data analysis firm Arkham Intelligence, Bhutan recently transferred approximately $11 million worth of Bitcoin from its sovereign asset wallet. This fund movement is part of the country's routine operations regarding its digital asset portfolio and is not a large-scale sell-off.

Despite this transfer, Bhutan remains one of the countries with the largest Bitcoin holdings among sovereign entities globally. Data tracked by Arkham shows that Bhutan currently holds around 5,600 BTC, valued at several hundred million dollars at current market prices, demonstrating its continued confidence in the long-term value of crypto assets.

As one of the few sovereign entities globally to incorporate Bitcoin into its national reserves, every asset adjustment by Bhutan attracts market attention. Its robust holding strategy also serves as a reference model for other countries exploring digital reserve assets.
