Ripple's global payment infrastructure now spans over 60 countries and regions, connecting to 51 instant payment networks, making it a significant player in the enterprise-level cross-border settlement space. With more than 75 global regulatory licenses, Ripple provides financial institutions and businesses with stable, compliant, and efficient fund transfer solutions.
Ripple CEO Merrick stated that its platform integrates the management of fiat currencies, digital assets, stablecoins, and custody services, enabling seamless processing of high-concurrency transactions. Among these, Ripple's compliant stablecoin, Ripple USD (RLUSD), achieved a market capitalization of over $1 billion in its first year, marking the recognition of stablecoins' practical application in institutional payment scenarios.
To strengthen its technological foundation, Ripple has acquired two tech companies, Palisade and Rail. The former brought advanced digital asset custody and wallet infrastructure, while the latter enhanced global virtual account systems and payment automation capabilities. These integrations allow businesses to conduct multi-currency payments within a single system, significantly reducing foreign exchange volatility risks and eliminating the complex processes of establishing local entities in multiple countries, greatly improving cross-border operational efficiency.
Currently, Ripple is pushing for more financial institutions to connect to its network, accelerating the construction of a decentralized yet regulated global payment ecosystem.
