Cryptocurrency analysis firm Santiment has released a ranking of Layer-2 network activity based on developer activity over the past 30 days, utilizing data sourced from GitHub. The data indicates that competition remains fierce, particularly among Ethereum scaling solutions, with Starknet and Aztec maintaining top positions.
According to Santiment, the developer activity metric reflects the technical progress of projects on GitHub and the growth of their ecosystems, with a leading position in this area seen as an important indicator of strong long-term fundamentals.
Starknet (STRK) holds its first place with a developer activity score of 117, while the privacy-focused Layer-2 solution Aztec (AZTEC) closely follows with a score of 116.27. Arbitrum (ARB) maintains third place with a score of 73.37.
On the other hand, Optimism (OP) has risen to fourth place, showing improvement compared to last month, while zkSync (ZK) has dropped to fifth.
