The transfer confirms a continued accumulation strategy.
According to a recent report from Arkham Intelligence, Tether has transferred 951 BTC from Bitfinex to its designated reserve wallet. This address has previously received similar transfers related to fiscal allocations.
Currently, Tether's total Bitcoin balance is nearing 97,141 BTC. The company has been accumulating Bitcoin since October 2022, demonstrating a steady accumulation trend.
This holding positions Tether as one of the top corporate holders.
With this update, Tether ranks among the leading private Bitcoin holders globally. According to data from BitcoinTreasuries.NET, it ranks just behind Block One.

This status is a result of Tether's early policy, which stipulates that up to 15% of operational profits be allocated for Bitcoin purchases. These acquisitions are funded through the company's earnings rather than relying on external capital.
Diversification of reserve assets.
In addition to Bitcoin, Tether also holds a significant amount of cash-equivalent assets. The company has substantial investments in U.S. government debt. Furthermore, gold is also a key component of its reserves, with current holdings exceeding $17 billion.
Additionally, Tether's investment arm has injected $134 million into stablecoin development companies. This move further expands the scope of its financial activities.
