The Solana-based Memecoin platform Bonk.fun has issued a warning that its domain has been compromised by hackers. The attackers deployed a wallet theft program on the site by taking control of the team’s account.

According to Tom, the attack specifically targeted users who clicked on the fake terms of service prompt that appeared on the website during the domain hijacking. Users who had previously connected their wallets to Bonk.fun were not affected, and traders using external terminals to transact Bonk-related tokens are also safe.
Some Users Report Losses
Tom stated that the situation has been quickly brought under control, and the reported losses appear to be limited. “We understand that many people are scared, which is completely understandable, but we are doing everything we can to resolve the issue,” he added.
Cointelegraph has reached out to Tom for comments but had not received a response by the time of publication.
