Ethereum Founder Buterin Reveals SHIB Donation Details: A Staggering $500 Million Profit

Ethereum (ETH) founder Vitalik Buterin recently discussed his donation of SHIB tokens, which were initially sent to him as a gift. Buterin shared his donation history over the past five years on social media, which included popular Meme coins like SHIB. Back in 2021, Buterin revealed that he had donated the SHIB sent to him by the mysterious Shiba Inu founder Ryoshi.

Buterin stated that in 2021, he donated some of his SHIB to the Future of Life Institute (FLI), but added that he no longer agrees with the organization's views. Buterin stated on X that he donated $500 million to FLI in 2021, which was used for political advocacy, deviating from the original technical roadmap. "In 2021, I bought a lot of SHIB and other Dogecoins because its creators used 'we own half of Vitalik's supply' as a marketing strategy and wanted to be 'the next Dogecoin'.
