Crypto.com announced a partnership with Korea's leading payment gateway KG Inicis, aimed at expanding the digital asset payment ecosystem by allowing foreign tourists to use cryptocurrencies for payments, thereby enhancing the convenience of digital transactions nationwide.

This collaboration will enable foreign tourists visiting Korea to use digital assets to pay for various goods and services, while also facilitating international customers to conduct cryptocurrency transactions on Korean commercial platforms. Additionally, a representative from KG Inicis mentioned, “Connecting digital assets with the payment infrastructure of the real economy will become a core competitive advantage in the future financial and business sectors. We plan to expand an infrastructure that allows the use of digital assets in actual economic activities while ensuring a solid legal and regulatory foundation.”
