The integration of the TRON network is now live on the Reown SDK, opening new possibilities for multi-chain decentralized application (dApp) development. This advancement was announced by TRON DAO in March 2026, enabling developers to collaborate with both TRON and Ethereum-compatible networks through a unified toolkit.
Unified Tools Provide Convenience for Developers
With this update, developers using the Reown SDK can access a unified solution for TRON and EVM-compatible chains, covering wallet connections, user authentication, and asset transactions. This SDK eliminates the need for custom wallet adapters or network-specific infrastructure, streamlining the entire process from project conception to implementation.

Expanding Multi-Chain Capabilities
This release supports both current and traditional TRON transaction models, enhancing wallet compatibility. Developers can also test applications on TRON's main testnets, Shasta and Nile. Additionally, financial developers gain access to important tools that support travel rule compliance, facilitating cross-border and regulated use cases.
TRON is a global blockchain protocol widely used for stablecoin exchanges, digital payments, and decentralized finance (DeFi News) platforms, currently boasting over 369 million user accounts worldwide. Integrating this functionality into the Reown SDK expands the audience for projects adopting this toolkit, making TRON a significant choice for developers in multi-chain strategies.

WalletConnect CEO Jess Houlgrave shared insights on the SDK's multi-chain approach, stating, “Developers should not have to choose between ecosystems or build custom infrastructure for each chain they want to support.”
This approach now allows teams to engage with TRON's user base while maintaining workflows familiar to EVM networks, reducing technical challenges and resource demands.
TRON founder Justin Sun commented on this milestone, emphasizing performance and scalability: “TRON is built to provide developers with the performance and scale they need to drive the next generation of on-chain applications.”
By expanding the Reown SDK's coverage to include TRON, this integration lowers the barriers to multi-chain development, paving the way for new projects and strengthening the positions of TRON and Reown in the global blockchain ecosystem.
