Despite the lack of significant price increases for XRP, the growth rate of XRP wallets among large investors has regained momentum after a brief slowdown.
According to on-chain data shared by cryptocurrency analytics platform Santiment, the number of wallets on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) has reached an all-time high, with 332,230 wallets holding at least 10,000 XRP. This indicates that the long-term accumulation trend for XRP is still ongoing.

Santiment noted in its analysis that the number of wallet addresses has shown a steady upward trend since June of last year.
Santiment's analysts specifically highlighted the trend of medium to large investors continuing to accumulate, stating: “The ongoing increase in the number of XRP Ledger wallets holding at least 10,000 XRP is an important long-term signal. Despite market volatility and uncertainty, large investors are steadily increasing their holdings of XRP, which is a key indicator for the long-term outlook.”

Historically, an increase in the number of medium to large wallets indicates that investors are less focused on short-term price fluctuations and are instead paying more attention to long-term value.
Santiment also pointed out that while it is expected that XRP's trading price will be below previous highs for most of 2026, investors are still increasing their holdings during times of panic. “This is particularly noteworthy because XRP's trading price will be below previous highs for most of 2026, indicating that many investors are willing to accumulate during a panic atmosphere rather than chase market momentum.”
