Following an integration between the Cardano blockchain and fiat on-ramp platform DFX.swiss, its native token ADA can now be used as a payment option in 137 Spar supermarkets across Switzerland. The integration utilizes DFX.swiss's crypto payment standard, Open Crypto Pay, which already supports payments with various crypto assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins like USDC, USDT, and DAI. To use it, Cardano users can scan a QR code with their native wallet and pay directly with ADA at checkout.
