The Ethereum restaking protocol Kelp has officially confirmed the discovery of suspicious cross-chain activities related to rsETH. To ensure user safety, Kelp has suspended the rsETH contracts on the mainnet and several Layer 2 networks, and has initiated an investigation into this attack incident. Currently, Kelp is collaborating with LayerZero, Unichain, as well as auditing firms and security experts to conduct a thorough root cause analysis (RCA). A detailed analysis report regarding the incident will be released in due course.
